The old short-term prison in Montpellier, september 2009

As a trainee, I had the opportunity of entering the old prison which is built right up against the present Law Courts. This was completely unknown land to me and gave me the chance to take photos in my naturally naïve way of this meaningful and historical establishment. Through the rubble is it possible to imagine what these walls contained ... distress, anger, anxiety, impatience?... Prisoners came and went but left to us an amazing heritage.
